Pre-requisites
Detailed Instructions
The preferred way to install Eclipse
plug-ins is via Install/Update feature of Eclipse. Eclipse attempts to download
plug-ins from the specified URL and you can even configure Eclipse to perform
automatic updates of these plug-ins, when the corresponding downloads are available.
Please note that if you are behind
the firewall, you would need to explicitly configure proxy connection in Eclipse to enable automatic downloads. If
you are unable to configure Eclipse for automatic downloads you may still use
Install/Update feature, but you would have to perform the downloading outside of
Eclipse.

How to Download the
Plug-ins Manually
If you are not able to detect your proxy settings and they can not be provided to you by your system administrator for security reasons, you have to resort to the manual download of the plug-ins. Once a plug-in ZIP file is downloaded to your local drive, you can install it by following Steps 3-8, except that instead of Remote Site in Step3 you should use Local Site.

You may selectively install one or
more plug-ins, but YOU MUST HAVE CORE PLUGIN – com.farata.flex - INSTALLED.
Other Farata productivity plug-ins will not work without this plug-in
installed.
